B.B. King B.B. King/Georgia 1970

This is a live soundboard recording of BB King, the leading squeeze guitarist. This was recorded in 1979 during a concert tour around what is now Russia, in Georgia (not the state of Georgia in the US, but the country name. A long time ago, in Japan, it was written as “Georgia” in katakana). Supported by a backing band with a brass band perfectly led by veteran Calvin Owens, King plays his trademark guitar phrases with great pleasure. The quality of the jacket is listed as VERYGOOD, but this is due to the label’s strict judgment, and the sound quality is by no means bad. The only reason it didn’t reach EXCELLENT is that the sound quality is a bit unstable. This is because there are some parts where the frequency balance is poor. I think this is a consideration to not let people have excessive expectations because it is a soundboard.
