Description

The best FM broadcast sound source of the B-52’s, a new wave band formed in the late 70’s, has been digitally remastered and is now available. They are an up-and-coming band in the new wave world, releasing the famous song Rock Lobster during their indie era, performing live at CBGB, signing a contract with Island, and producing for Blackwell, David Byrne, and others. This work was performed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in the year the first album was released. You can also enjoy the 2nd sound source. The Petula Clark cover and downtown new wave arrangement are also great. Don’t miss out on this rare live recording of this kitschy group representing US post-punk.
