This powerful item has been released, featuring a superb high quality stereo soundboard recording of an intense performance that surpasses even Andersen’s 1981 “Molde Concert” and in a good way overturns the image of the members at that time! … This Andersen project was thought to be a one-off, but in fact, two years later, in 1983, the guitarist was replaced by John Abercrombie, who also performed with Andersen (maybe just once?). This rare project was held on April 27th at NDR in Hamburg, Germany, and this two-disc set contains a complete recording of over an hour and a half of this incredible live performance, meticulously mastered by the label on a superb high quality stereo soundboard!!!
