After leaving Chapter 8, she released her solo album The Songstress in 1983. Sweet Love was a hit from Rapture in 1986, and her third album Giving You the Best That I Got finally showed her jazz and fusion vocal style in its full form. A live performance at Wembley Arena on October 21, 1988 was recorded on an air check soundboard. The highlight is the performance of the third single Lead Me Into Love, which became a top 10 hit, and for club lovers, the hit song I’m The One by the group Perri, which is a very danceable number. This live version is performed because she is in the chorus of Anita’s band, but it is quite rare. And the funky cover of Michael Jackson’s Another Part Of Me is also a highlight.
