From the 1983 American tour in which Alvin Lee led his own band after the dissolution of Ten Years After (Later), the performance at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City on March 18th was directly connected to the mixer. A trio consisting of Tom Compton, a drummer from Ten Years Later, and Calvin “Fuzzy” Samuels, a bassist from Manassas, will perform a familiar rock’n’roll medley from representative songs from the TYA era, as well as Jimi Hendrix.
