This 74-minute recording captures the second show of their 2026 Japan tour, the final performance of which took place on March 19th in Tokyo. The band, spearheaded by Devon Allman and Duane Betts—children of the legendary Allman Brothers Band—carries on their legacy and tradition while creating their own unique brand of American roots music. Having performed two shows each day in Osaka and Yokohama, this was truly their final performance in Tokyo. The sound is crystal clear with no sense of distance, and the guitars are so well-separated and mixed that it could easily pass as an official bootleg. While their original songs are undoubtedly fantastic, the real excitement comes from the Allman Brothers numbers, which comprised half of their set that day. In particular, the three-song set starting with “Blue Sky” included a nearly 20-minute performance of “Dreams,” where the members’ solo exchanges were reminiscent of Allman Brothers’ Mountain Jam. The show concluded dramatically with “Midnight Rider,” performed to a standing ovation. The set also includes a DVD featuring a full 1 hour and 35 minute recording of their final performance on July 28th at the 2024 Fuji Rock Festival. This is also professionally shot digital broadcast footage, ensuring complete official quality. Moreover, considering that Dickey Betts had passed away just three months prior, this performance felt like a tribute to him, making it a deeply moving live show.
