Al Jarreau sadly passed away on February 12, 2017. There is probably no other unique vocalist with such a relaxed, soulful, technical and gentle vocal range and such a wide vocal range. His talent cannot be contained within the framework of AOR or Bracon, but on the other hand, many people say that his heyday was in 1981.
