Description

From the “ROCKS TOUR” held from April 1976 to February 1977, an astonishing title that combines two performances of high-quality sound board sound sources that appeared for the first time is now available. First of all, Discs 1 & 2 include a complete recording of the Fukuoka performance on February 4th, the 4th day, from the first performance in Japan in 1977. The 90-minute cassette, which was kept as a record by those involved and left unattended for over 30 years, includes a slight omission of Last Child’s intro due to a tape change, and the emcee’s warning to the audience (“barricades in front of the stage”). “The police are coming too…”), as well as the opening S.E., and the closing song Toys In The Attic are almost completely recorded. The sound was simply mixed from a PA table and an ambient microphone used to create a sense of presence. The intro of “Lick And A Promise” using Joey’s flanger, Stephen’s vocals with tape echo effects, and talking.・It is vividly recorded in stereo, such as Joe’s guitar that becomes loud when switched with a modulator, and is the title that most realistically conveys “ROCKS TOUR” at this time. Due to the deterioration characteristics of cassette tapes, the sound quality of Disc 2 recorded on side B is higher than that of Disc 1 recorded on side A, but as a sound source excavated more than 30 years later, the sound was perfect at the time. The stage is captured. Disc 3 includes the April 30, 1976 Iowa performance. This is also the first sound source, and it is a performance that is not recognized as a historical fact, but it is a monaural sound board recording of performances that were certainly performed by three bands, RUSH and ANGEL. This will be recorded from the beginning of “Walkin’ The Dog” in the middle of the stage to the final song Toys In The Attic, but the stage where the momentum rides wildly in the first half of the tour is recorded with the highest sound quality accompanied by a professional mix. I am. The most important “ROCKS TOUR” in AEROSMITH’s tour history. The title that recorded the first and last two performances with the first appearance line sound source is now available as a 3-disc set.
