Aerosmith Aerosmith/France 1997 Complete

From the Euro tour accompanying the release of “NINE LIVES” in 1997, the live performance in Lyon, France on June 7th was recorded in full for 1 hour and 39 minutes from the audience master with astonishing quality for the time, which was recently released by taper. This was digitized directly from the original DAT cassette, and the quality is not what you would expect from an audience recording at the time, and the separation is wonderful, so it can be used as an official bootleg. This was the beginning of a massive world tour, and fans will have fond memories of the Japan tour the following year. The live performances from this period mainly featured seven songs from the album, followed by a parade of their biggest hits up to that point. Incidentally, in addition to the rare song “Falling Off,” which was a bonus track on “NINE LIVES,” “Hole In My Soul” and “Something’s Gotta Give” have not been included in the set since this tour, and the official live performance from the same tour, “A Little South of Sanity,” is strangely patched together and doesn’t feel very live.
