The live performance on August 22nd in San Diego, from the North American tour just after Joe and Brad returned in 1984, was recorded almost in full for 1 hour and 39 minutes from the original audience master of MARCO MOIR, a taper who has been making waves in recent years since being released for the first time. This recording was made from the original master owned by the legendary California taper who was active from the mid-80s to the early 90s at about the same time as Mike Millard. Until now, it had never been traded, but it was recently made public by a well-known collector, and a number of valuable live recordings have been revived from high-quality recording tapes. The quality is almost on the same level as the Millard tapes, and Millard did not keep any recordings of this performance, so this is a rare recording that will be released for the first time in Japan. As this was the beginning of a comeback concert with the five original members, following the return of two members who had temporarily left the band, the set consisted almost entirely of Aerosmith’s most representative songs from the 1970s. In particular, the three songs from “Night in the Rats” were hardly performed after this album, and as this was a rare period leading up to the golden age of the 1980s, this is a must-listen for fans.
