Description
The live performance on March 2nd in San Diego, from the North American tour after the release of “Pump” in 1990, was recorded almost in full for 1 hour and 45 minutes from the original audience master of MARCO MOIR, a taper who has been making waves in recent years since being released for the first time. This recording was made from the original master owned by the legendary California taper who was active from the mid-80s to the early 90s at about the same time as Mike Millard. Until now, it had never been traded, but it was recently made public by a well-known collector, and a number of valuable live recordings have been revived from high-quality recording tapes. The quality is almost on the same level as the Millard tapes, and by the way, no one, including Millard, has kept recordings of this performance, making this a rare recording that will be released for the first time in Japan. And the live performance at the peak of their career was a best set, with six songs each from their previous albums “Permanent Vacation” and “Pump” as the core, along with some killer tunes from the 70s, and there were plenty of highlights, including “Heart’s Done Time,” “Permanent Vacation,” and “Voodoo Medicine Man,” which had never been played since this tour. In addition, seven shows were held in Japan in September of that year, and the set was almost the same as then, so this is a must-listen for fans who knew back then.
