Description
ACCEPT in 1993 reunited with founder Udo Dirkschneider and delighted metal fans all over the world. This masterpiece live album features rare songs that were not available at the Japan tour. This work is recorded in the “Lund performance on May 4, 1993”. This is a superb audience recording. If you are familiar with “Sweden in the 1990s”, you are quite a keen observer. Recently, a series of superb recordings by a person called “Crazy Tapes” have been unearthed from Sweden, and the collector world is talking about “a great man!” We have introduced him in our shop with DEF LEPPARD’s “STOCKHOLM 1993” and Alice Cooper’s “SCANDINAVIA 1991”, but he has continued to be unearthed since then. He is a terrifying recorder who is all of the best. This work is the latest edition of the attention collection, the ACCEPT edition. The quality is of course interesting, but first of all, the position of the show. Let’s look back at the activities in 1993, when the revival was signaled with “OBJECTION OVERRULED”. “OBJECTION OVERRULED” released on February 1st. April 30th – June 1st: Europe #1 (26 performances) ←★Here★ – 3 months later – September 6th – 9th: Japan (4 performances) ←※NAGOYA 1993 September 11th: Foundations Forum appearance September 17th: Buenos Aires performance September 25th – October 14th: Europe #2 (16 performances) October 15th – November 21st: North America (16 performances) This is ACCEPT in 1993. In the fall, they will do a large-scale world tour from “Japan → South America Europe #2 → North America”, but three months before that, they also did a reunion tour limited to Europe. The Lund performance in this work was the fourth concert in the very early “Europe #1”. This work, which vacuum-packed the scene of such a dawn, is the best sound with “super”. The first power chord of the performance was so vibrating that I had a bad feeling, but it was quickly improved immediately after (about 2 seconds). I don’t know if the taper, surprised by the sound output, immediately corrected it or if the on-site mixer made a mistake only for the first shot, but after that moment, the superb sound penetrated the entire work. It’s so amazing that it’s like a sound board. Or, if you are a customer of our store, it might be better to say, “Why is there a “Western Japan’s Strongest Taper” in Northern Europe in the 1990s?!” No, in fact it is not the strongest Mr. in Japan but Mr. “Crazy Tapes”, but the thickness, zero distance, and super sound board-like fineness of detail are very similar to the strongest Mr. collection. It is also the latest recording level of the 2020s. Even if the sound quality is based on the 2020s standard, the show content is definitely from the 1990s, so it is amazing. Moreover, it includes rare songs. Speaking of the “OBJECTION OVERRULED Tour”, the masterpiece of the Japan tour “NAGOYA 1993: DAT MASTER (Shades 1385)” is still fresh in our memory, so let’s organize the set by comparing them. Classics (18 songs)・Breaker: Starlight/Breaker/Son Of A Bitch/Burning・Restless and Wild: Princess Of The Dawn/Neon Nights/Restless And Wild/Fast As A Shark・Balls To The Wall: London Leatherboys/Winter Dreams (★)/Balls To The Wall・Metal Heart: Living For Tonite/Screaming For A Love-Bite/Too High To Get It Right/Up To The Limit/Metal Heart・Other: The King (★)/T.V. War (★)Other (5 songs)・Objection Overruled: Slaves To Metal/Bulletproof/Objection Overruled (★)・Other: Animal House (★)/X-T-C (★)*Note: The ★ mark indicates songs that were not heard on “NAGOYA 1993: DAT MASTER”. …And so on. As mentioned above, this is the fourth performance after the reunion. They try out the songs that they stopped immediately afterwards. The new song “Objection Overruled” is delicious, but the extremely rare early songs “The King” and “Winter Dreams” are dizzying. And the highlight is the masterpiece from the split era. “X-T-C” from “EAT THE HEAT” and “Animal House” by U.D.O. pop out! Both songs were only performed at a few shows in 1993. Udo’s “X-T-C” was also a cover version of U.D.O., but this work is a genuine live performance by ACCEPT. Until now, you can only imagine the extremely rare performance from the set list information, but you can experience it on the spot with the super-exquisite sound of the barefoot sound board! Even so, the terrifying master taper has appeared. When it was DEF LEPPARD or Alice Cooper, I thought it was a “masterpiece of chance,” but if it’s done so many times, it can’t be a coincidence. ACCEPT edition of the shocking series that will make you look forward to future excavations. A super-class audience recording of the “Lund performance on May 4, 1993”. This is the first public collection of the popular recordist “Crazy Tapes”, and the sound is perfect as a soundboard. The super thick feeling, zero distance feeling, and super clear details are not inferior to the official live album. In addition to the early songs “The King” and “Winter Dreams”, you can experience a full show with plenty of delicious rare songs that you couldn’t hear in Japan, such as “X-T-C” from “EAT THE HEAT” and “Animal House” from U.D.O.
