Description
The latest live album from “AC/DC + Axl Rose,” commonly known as “AXL/DC,” is another masterpiece! This miraculous unit is the combination of two of the biggest names in modern rock and roll. We’ve introduced their background and current situation many times before, but just because they’re highly acclaimed doesn’t mean they can put on an amazing live show. You could say that the history of rock is littered with “spectacular disappointments,” but AXL/DC is different. Since Axl is the most selfish guy in the rock world, there was controversy even before the show started, but when the show started, the whole of Europe was filled with a comfortable sense of respect for Axl, and the performance didn’t even resort to impersonations, sending all of Europe into a frenzy. That excitement, carried by the music that came out one after another, is enough to take over the whole world. Our shop has delivered many masterpieces such as “PRAGUE 2016 (DVD)”, “MARSEILLE & WERCHTER 2016”, “MANCHESTER 2016”, and “DUSSELDORF 2016”, but one that makes the lineup even more luxurious has appeared. That is this work, the audience album of “Aarhus performance on June 12, 2016”. So far, it is the fourth live album alone, and the fifth if the video is included, so let’s organize it by schedule.・May 7th: Lisbon (Portugal) *First day of the combined tour・May 10th: Seville (Spain)・May 13th: Marseille (France) → “MARSEILLE & WERCHTER 2016″・May 16th: Werchter (Belgium) → “MARSEILLE & WERCHTER 2016″・May 19th: Vienna (Austria)・May 22nd: Prague (Czech Republic) → “PRAGUE 2016 (DVD)”・May 26th: Hamburg (Germany)・May 29th: Bern (Switzerland)・June 1st: Leipzig (Germany)・June 4th: London (UK)・June 9th: Manchester (UK) → “MANCHESTER 2016″・June 12th: Aarhus (Denmark) → [This film]・June 15th: Düsseldorf (Germany) → “DUSSELDORF 2016” Thus, this work is the 22nd performance of the final European tour out of the 23 performances. It is between “MANCHESTER 2016” and “DUSSELDORF 2016” and can be said to be the “final trilogy”, but in fact the biggest point is “Touch Too Much”. Since we have introduced it in “PRAGUE 2016” and “DUSSELDORF 2016”, you may think “it’s the same as always”, but it is not. Even in all 23 performances, it was only performed on these three days. More specifically, it is the first revival in 37 years since the Bon Scott era, and there is almost no record of it in the Bon era (only once on December 14, 1979!?), so it is a very rare song in the rarest of rares. It is the last piece of such a “Touch Too Much trilogy”. Of course, the sound worthy of being called a “trilogy” is also excellent. Speaking of “PRAGUE 2016” and “DUSSELDORF 2016”, they are high quality albums that are representative of the masterpieces so far, but even if you put them next to those two masterpieces, you can’t give up even a half step. To call it “like a sound board”, there is a real enthusiasm and a real atmosphere of the venue, but the solid musical sound that penetrates the atmosphere like a laser beam is very cool. Of course, it is not the type that “searches for a performance among the cheers” (never!), and not only does the small and vast sea of enthusiasm not interfere with the musical sound, but it is a live album that is overrun by Axel’s singing voice and Angus’ riffs. Axel, who is currently continuing GUNS N’ ROSES’ “NOT IN THIS LIFETIME… TOUR”, will return to AC/DC at the end of August. I can’t wait for the 10 North American performances from there, but first let’s thoroughly enjoy the European edition. I think there are many people who can’t miss even one performance just because it’s AXL/DC, but this work is one of the highlights of the 23 European performances, the “Touch Too Much Trilogy”. A masterpiece on par with the superb video “PRAGUE 2016” and the final day’s superb “DUSSELDORF 2016”. Please enjoy the strongest rock and roll on earth in 2016 with your whole body! 2016.06.12 Ceres Park, Aarhus, Denmark DISC 1 01. INTRO 02. ROCK OR BUST 03. SHOOT TO THRILL 04.
