Description
“ABBA In Poland” was filmed in Warsaw, Poland in October 1976 and aired in November of the same year. Although it has excellent content, it is familiar to fans of ABBA’s golden age, and has not yet been officially released. In Japan, it was broadcast in a 40-minute slot on the national broadcasting station “One Man Shows of the World” on December 29, 1978. It is an item that will amaze enthusiasts, as it was recorded on tape at a time when video was not yet common. Since it was broadcast at the height of ABBA’s popularity, many Japanese fans must have seen this program. The main focus is on a studio live performance (mime) with an audience filmed in Warsaw, but at the beginning, there is a scene of ABBA arriving at the airport with Waterloo in the background, an interview on the plane, and an original film of Nina, Pretty Ballerina interweaving scenes of the plane, the airport, and the arrival at the hotel. This program is full of highlights that are unique to this program, and fans will not be able to take their eyes off it from start to finish. And above all, the translations of the interviews and MCs, as well as the lyrics featured in almost all of the songs, are very original to the title. The jacket is a reproduction of the double-page flyer from that time that was carefully kept by an ABBA enthusiast. Everything is an irresistible gem for enthusiasts. It even includes the last line, “Tomorrow at this time, look forward to Stevie Wonder.” A fantastic album that will take you to the end of 1978.
