It completely compiles 56 early tracks and 40 later tracks released in Japan between 1964 and 1982, including Japan-exclusive couplings, all in chronological order using the original sound sources. The analog sound, directly converted from the original record masters, is perfectly reproduced, and all Japanese-exclusive jacket photos, including alternate designs, are included. From the 1960s onwards, albums and singles were released one after another in Japan under unique projects. While “Please Please Me” was planned as their debut single in Japan in February 1964, “I Want to Hold Your Hand” was unexpectedly released first, and from then on, singles were released almost every month. While all Beatles songs are now digitally remastered to a global standard, at the time, cutting and mastering were not standardized in the UK, the US, and other countries around the world. Now, the unique differences in sound characteristic of analog recordings are attracting attention, and this single collection adheres to the original sound sources, directly converting from the record masters to perfectly reproduce the unique sound of analog.
