Beatles/Revolver Analog Tape Rarities

From a series produced by an overseas Beatles fan site highly regarded by fans worldwide, comes a rare collection commemorating the 60th anniversary of “Revolver,” featuring original UK analog tape recordings. This collection includes recordings made using direct transfer from 8-track cartridge stereo tapes and open-reel mono tapes, both produced in the UK starting in 1970. The first half, the 8-track tapes, features a significantly rearranged track order, and the stereo recordings offer a dynamic sound with a different sonic texture than the vinyl records. The second half, the open-reel tapes, features the original mono mix, offering a unique mono sound characteristic of analog tapes. Both are now hard-to-find collector’s items that fetch high prices at auction, and this special edition, recorded in master quality, is a must-have for fans.
