Miles Davis John Scofield,Bob Berg/NY,USA 06.29.1985 Remastered

Having fully recovered and energetically toured the world in 1985, the June 29th Saratoga Springs concert from that tour has been remarkably restored and corrected by overseas enthusiasts, and is being released as a definitive edition with a new look for the first time in about 25 years. Mr. Nakayama has given it his seal of approval, calling it “another must-listen,” but it is likely that many people listened to it once and then left it gathering dust on their CD shelves due to the heavy hiss noise throughout. This new edition, released as part of the Definitive Series, has had the noise that was bothering him reduced to the greatest extent possible through the latest AI processing. Furthermore, sections where the tape speed drops midway through a song have also been corrected, making it recommended for those who already own the title 20 years ago and those who are listening to this live performance for the first time. In addition to tenor saxophone, Bob Berg also plays synthesizer on “Time After Time.” Although the performance time is short, “Decoy,” performed in the latter half, is a duo performance by Darryl Jones and Vincent Wilburn.
