Journey/Tokyo,Japan 09.01.2026 Complete

This release features a full 2-hour and 23-minute recording of the final show in Japan from their 2026 “FINAL FRONTIER Tour,” specifically the September 1st performance at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, captured from a high-quality audience master recording released by the taper. Since their August 29th performance was part of “THE GREATEST ROCK FUKUOKA,” this Ariake Arena show was their only solo performance, and the setlist, befitting their final tour, was a true culmination of the band’s work, including five songs not performed in their previous 2024 tour. Furthermore, Dean Castronovo, Jonathan Cain, and Jason Dalatka shared lead vocals on some of their earlier numbers. Furthermore, guest vocalist Hugo Valenti, who appeared on the two tracks “Faithfully” and “Keep On Runnin’,” is also known for his work with a Journey tribute band. With Arnel Pineda having expressed his intention to leave the band, there’s also the exciting possibility that he might join as the new vocalist, making this a special, limited-edition memorial item for their Japan tour.
