Lynyrd Skynyrd/OR,USA 09.03.2010 Soundboard Edition

This recording captures their performance at the Oregon State Fair on September 3rd, during their North American tour in 2010, when they resumed activities with a new lineup. The recording was leaked by someone involved at the time and is a stereo soundboard recording. This was recently released by staff members at the time and is a direct recording from the original master of a soundboard directly connected to the mixing console. Although there are some cuts and it lacks some of the live atmosphere, it is completely unprocessed and unedited, so the raw sound comes out with tremendous force from the PA system at the venue, resulting in a stereo sound that is on another level. The album “God & Guns” was released the previous year, and new members joined to replace two members who passed away that year. The live performance included songs from the album, but the main focus was on their heyday numbers from the 70s, and the performance, right up to the final song “Freebird,” is a performance that symbolizes the good old days of American rock.
