Description

With the highly anticipated film “Don’t Look Back in Anger” set to be released next week, last year’s legendary album has finally evolved into its ultimate sound! The source remastering, matrixing, and mixing have all been completely overhauled from scratch, resulting in a truly top-of-the-line ultimate title that is completely different in the best way from last year’s DEFINITIVE edition! Whether you own last year’s DEFINITIVE edition or not, whether you attended the Tokyo Dome concert or not, this is the biggest release of 2026 that we recommend to all rock fans! It’s almost been a year since those two dreamlike days at Tokyo Dome. Whether you were able to attend one of the two days, or both, your body is probably itching to hear it again. And above all, the film “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” which documented last year’s reunion tour, is set to be released next week. With that in mind, many people are probably itching to hear it again. And the masterpiece album “DEFINITIVE TOKYO DOME 2025 2 DAYS COMPLETE: YOU PROVED ‘EM WRONG!,” which perfectly captured the two brilliant days at Tokyo Dome, became our biggest bestseller ever and was re-released three times, but all of them sold out. This album has become such a staple that it’s synonymous with last year’s Tokyo Dome concerts, and it wouldn’t be surprising if we considered a fourth re-release, but we decided to take a break for research purposes, and now, taking advantage of the perfect timing of the movie release mentioned earlier, this masterpiece is finally making a new appearance. Given the gap in releases, it would be a shame to simply re-release last year’s version as is. Rather, we’ve taken this opportunity to start by re-examining the audio source itself from scratch. There is no doubt that last year’s version used three sources for both days, resulting in superb audience recordings at Tokyo Dome, but on the other hand, the recording quality of each was clearly different. First up, the first day! Last year’s release was largely appealing for its incredibly close sound image, which was hard to believe considering the vast Tokyo Dome. However, it’s also true that it didn’t fully convey the sense of presence, the atmosphere of the venue, or the expansive sound characteristic of a dome. Furthermore, the recording had a strong bass sound, particularly the kick drum. These were certainly areas that needed improvement. Therefore, for this release, we’ve used the latest AI technology, which has proven incredibly effective on numerous Oasis titles we’ve released in the past. We’ve re-examined each of the six sources (three from each day) by track, and then thoroughly remastered, matrixed, and remixed them. Of course, we haven’t “created sounds that weren’t there” as usual. This is the result of extracting and organizing all the sounds hidden within the three audience recordings used as source material for each day. As a result, we’ve retained the directness that is a strength of this recording, while successfully recapturing the atmosphere of the Tokyo Dome, and above all, the atmosphere of that particular day. For example, the moment Joey’s drum intro to “Supersonic” begins, or the moment Noel’s famous guitar solo to start in “Live Forever” begins, and also in between songs, the roar of cheers that echoed through the venue like a wave can be experienced with the fine texture of a soundboard recording, making it feel as if you’ve time-warped back to that day last year. The thumping bass has also been transformed into a more appropriate texture. Furthermore, the only flaw in this recording was the prominent voices of two women in the left channel of the audio source that was also used for “TOKYO DOME 2025 1ST NIGHT”. In this production, we succeeded in carefully removing only their voices without any unnaturalness using the latest AI technology. The screams that used to pop up from the left at the beginning and between songs are no longer audible! On to the second day. This recording, which garnered significant attention upon its release last year, boasts universally appealing accessibility and a captivating atmosphere. However, it’s undeniable that it lacked the directness of the performance compared to the first day. Therefore, using the latest AI technology, we completely reworked all three source tracks, thoroughly re-analyzing and re-mastering, matrixing, and mixing. This resulted in a recording that captures both the atmosphere, spaciousness, and presence unique to audience recordings, and the clarity and smoothness of a soundboard recording. We also carefully addressed the dilemma of excessive echo inherent in Tokyo Dome recordings, ensuring that the Tokyo Dome’s signature sense of presence—the greatest appeal of the previous release—is not lost, while adding a perfect balance of directness. This represents a miraculous evolution from a perfect 100 to a perfect 200. Furthermore, a common goal for both days was to bring out the latest Oasis sound, made possible by the triple-guitar setup, even more than the previous release. By disassembling all the sources and analyzing the dome echo, and comparing them with the official ‘LIVE ’25’ tour recordings, we thoroughly adjusted the sound to achieve a quality comparable to the official live recordings. While maintaining the contours of the performance, we have brilliantly achieved a balance between the spaciousness and scale unique to the Tokyo Dome. In addition, the bass frequencies. In last year’s DEFINITIVE edition, the bass drum and bass frequencies interfered with each other, resulting in an overly boomy bass that made the overall tempo feel heavy. Therefore, this time we have reorganized the frequency range and mixed it with the intention of creating a natural bass that drives the band forward. This ULTIMATE edition, born from an ultimate love for Oasis’s ‘LIVE ’25’ tour and Tokyo Dome performance, has become the pinnacle title among the many recordings from these two days that have produced various releases. And above all, with this masterpiece that caused such a huge sensation appearing completely reborn, it is literally the perfect opportunity for both those who were able to get last year’s release and those who weren’t. And yet, the sound quality has clearly changed on both days (and I’m not exaggerating, it’s a truly evolved, completely different product!), so even those who own the previous release will be able to enjoy this one to the fullest, which is a major aim of this release. Delivered at the perfect time, as excitement is rekindled with the release of the film documenting last year’s tour, this is the greatest 2026 edition of the Tokyo Dome two-day complete set! As stated in the subtitle, these two days were “once-in-a-lifetime moments.” So, in anticipation of the film’s release next week, please enjoy this ULTIMATE edition that captures October 25th and 26th!
