J.R.Monterose/NY,USA 12.07.1978 Unreleased FM Broadcast Edition

An extremely rare live performance by J.R. Monterose, a dynamic tenor who is very popular in Japan, recorded from excavated unreleased recordings of a 1 hour and 19 minute live performance with a one-horn quartet performed at the famous lounge “Lark Tavern” in Albany, New York in 1978. The official version of this CD’s live performance at the same lounge the following year has already been released as “Live in Albany” and has been very well received by jazz fans. However, the 1978 live is a very valuable live sound source that will appear for the first time. Naturally, the songs played and recorded on that day are also completely different, and this 1978 live has more attractive songs for jazz fans.
