This 4-disc collection compiles live footage from 2014 to 2023 by DELAIN, a leading symphonic metal band from the Netherlands! Disc 1 contains approximately 46 minutes of footage from GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2023, featuring performances of “The Cold,” “Burning Bridges,” and their signature songs “The Gathering” and “Mother Machine.” Disc 2 contains approximately 53 minutes of footage from WACKEN 2023, capturing the powerful festival stage performance from “April Rain,” “Suckerpunch,” to the final song “We Are The Others.” Disc 3 contains approximately 80 minutes of footage from the MOSCOW, RUSSIA 2017 performance, featuring 17 songs including “Hands of Gold,” “The Glory and the Scum,” “Pristine,” and “We Are the Others.” This is a fulfilling stage performance that broadly covers DELAIN’s popular songs. Disc 4 contains approximately 80 minutes of footage from the NETHERLANDS 2014 performance. In addition to songs like “Here Come the Vultures,” “Get the Devil Out of Me,” and “Not Enough,” the encore included “My Masquerade” and “We Are the Others.” This 4-DVD set, totaling approximately 259 minutes, allows you to enjoy different eras of DELAIN from 2014 to 2023 all at once, showcasing their symphonic grandeur, heavy sound, and brilliant vocal performances! Details of each disc are as follows: Disc 1 This is a multi-camera pro-shot of the Dutch symphonic gothic band Delain, centered around Martijn Westerholt, formerly of WITHIN TEMPTATION, and Charlotte Wessels, formerly of TO ELYSIUM, performing at “GRASPOP METAL MEETING,” a famous metal festival representing Belgium. As it is the latest pro-shot, the quality is completely official. Although the mix has a live-stream feel to it, that also gives it a raw and good feel. Disc 4 The Dutch symphonic metal band Dillane, featuring female vocalist Charlotte Wessels, has finally arrived! And what’s more, this is a special live performance—a so-called kickoff show—held in their home country of the Netherlands prior to the release of their latest album, ‘The Human Contradiction,’ where they premiered new songs! This is a rare find! The live performance, which opened with “Here Come the Vultures” just like the album, featured dynamic yet magnificent songs, combined with Charlotte’s lovely and expressive vocals, drawing the audience into Delain’s world. Midway through, Marsila Bovio, the female vocalist of the Dutch progressive metal band Stream of Passion, appeared and sang a beautiful duet with Charlotte, and George Oosthoek, the growl of the Dutch death/gothic metal band Orphanage, added a fierce scream to Delain’s songs. The footage appears to be shot from the second floor seats near the center of the venue, capturing the entire stage, but zooms in to a close-up of Charlotte’s upper body at its best.
