Deep Purple/Sweden 02.25.1987 S & V

This release couples a high-quality audience recording and video of a live performance in Malmö, Sweden on February 25th, from the Euro tour immediately following the release of “THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT” in 1987. The CD features previously unreleased audience audio recently taped and digitized directly from the original master. The DVD is an upgraded master of footage previously released online by the owner, boasting an astonishing clarity for a VHS camera of the time. The camera, positioned in the stands on the left side of the stage, is free of shadows from the audience in front, and the sound quality is excellent. The performance includes songs from the album such as “The Unwritten Law,” “Dead Or Alive,” and “Hard Lovin’ Woman,” as well as “Difficult To Cure,” some of which are not found on the official “NOBODY’S PERFECT” release. In particular, it captures a still-energetic Jon Lord, making this a must-listen and must-see for longtime fans, totaling 1 hour and 38 minutes.
