This release features two rare live performances from the *Brown Sugar* tour. While the *Live at the Jazz Cafe* album from 1995 is well-known, the Tramps recording offers soundboard quality that rivals it. The content is absolutely superb; the thrilling rendition of the “Theme from Shaft” is electrifying. Also included is a performance from Caravan of Dreams; although it is an audience recording with some minor audio dropouts, the sound quality is powerful and excellent. This set features “Mothership Connection” and a beautiful cover of “Give Me Your Love,” serving as a reminder of the diverse range of covers performed during the *Brown Sugar* tour.
