The debut release in this series focuses on their historic 1973 debut album, *Queen I*. It features a complete re-edited remix of the entire album, a faithful reproduction of the original master, outtakes, rarities, and a video collection. CD 1 presents the entire album in a “Multiplex Stereo Remix,” created from multitrack sources. Offering a more realistic soundstage than the polished, overdubbed final versions, this remix highlights raw vocals and distinct guitar phrases, resulting in an “alternate album” experience completely different from the standard stereo mix. The latter half includes “Singles and Rarities,” featuring period-accurate single edits and later remixes. CD 2 contains the “Original Master Restoration,” a faithful reproduction of the original source audio that captures the definitive master tape sound. While many digital remasters have been released over the years, this disc aims to recreate the analog sound found on the original vinyl pressings from the time of release—offering a faithful reproduction of the original audio that cannot be heard in the radically different remixes or standard digital remasters. The second half features studio outtakes and recordings from the era of Smile, Queen’s predecessor band. The DVD compiles album-related footage, organized by section; the “Video Collection” includes official videos and newly edited promotional clips. “Promotion Video Sessions” features complete recordings—including pre-take slates and count-ins—of Queen’s first promotional shoots for “Keep Yourself Alive” and “Liar,” presenting various alternate edits for each song. It is a historic video session that captures the band at the time of their debut. Additionally, “Video Archives” includes footage from the UK TV program *OGWT*, film footage from the 1974 Rainbow concert, and rare live performances broadcast on German television.
