Description

A new pro-shot video has been added to the Port Chester New Discovery Series. This is a masterpiece that serves as an official alternative to Tears for Fears, allowing you to enjoy Tears for Fears for approximately 100 minutes! This video was filmed at the “Port Chester performance on September 28, 2015,” and it is a multi-camera pro-shot. Speaking of pro-shot footage from around the same period, two masterpieces from 2017, “ROCK IN RIO 2017” and “BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT,” are also well-known. First, let’s take a (somewhat broad) look at their activities and see how they relate to each other. 2015 – June 6-20: North America #1 (8 shows) – September 19-30: North America #2 (8 shows) ←★HERE★ 2016 – July 9-11: North America #3 (3 shows) – July 29 + 31: UK (2 shows) – September 17 – October 9: North America #4 (16 shows) 2017 – May 4 – June 26: North America #5 (28 shows) – July 5 + 8: Israel/UK #1 (2 shows) – July 11-23: North America #6 (9 shows) – September 14-18: North America #7 (4 shows) – September 22: Rio de Janeiro show ←※ROCK IN RIO 2017 – October 26 + 27: UK #2 (2 shows) ←※BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT A newly unearthed, full-length pro-shot from the much-talked-about collection: This is TEARS FOR FEARS from 2015-2017. After releasing the EP “READY BOY & GIRLS?” in 2014, they basically only performed live. This Port Chester performance was the seventh show of their “North America #2” tour, about two years before “ROCK IN RIO 2017”. This release, which captures that stage, is the latest in the much-talked-about Port Chester series. Powerful soundboard recordings have been appearing one after another recently, and now a pro-shot has finally been unearthed. This week, along with the Jeff Beck and CHEAP TRICK editions, the TEARS FOR FEARS edition was released simultaneously. The quality is superb and unique. Both the picture and sound quality are official-grade, and the video, which captures everything from close-ups of the members to the entire stage, is very impressive, and the audio is a superb soundboard. However, it is a little different from the meticulously edited and directed official video works, and is raw and unfiltered. The number of cameras used is relatively small, and the switching is rough. However, this gives it a raw, tangible feel that captures the atmosphere of the event as it was, and the sense of being right there on stage is exceptional. This unique flavor is quite good. I’ve been comparing it to masterpieces like “ROCK IN RIO” and “BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT,” but this film is quite different in its appeal. “ROCK IN RIO” is a spectacle enveloped in the liberating atmosphere and production unique to an outdoor festival in South America, and “BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT” is a polished production that depicts a specially selected set for broadcast with the best camerawork. In contrast, this film is an unadorned record that captures a regular tour hall performance “straight out of the camera.” In the intimate space of the Capitol Theatre, Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith naturally weave together their masterpieces. There is an atmosphere of a regular concert that cannot be experienced at festivals or special programs…a unique mood where the distance between the stage and the audience is close. The extravagant performance of the golden age, spiced up at key moments—even more appealing than the venue’s atmosphere is the approximately 100-minute recording time. This length is possible because it’s a solo performance free from the time constraints of festivals and broadcasts, and it far surpasses the approximately 69 minutes of ‘ROCK IN RIO’ and the approximately 68 minutes of ‘BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT’. Of course, the sheer volume of songs that take advantage of that length is superb. Let’s summarize it here. Classics (11 songs) – Change: Pale Shelter / Change / Mad World / Memories Fade – Shout: Everybody Wants to Rule the World / Head Over Heels / Shout – Seeds of Love: Sowing The Seeds Of Love / Advice for the Young at Heart / Badman’s Song (★) / Woman In Chains (★) 90s and later (5 songs) – 90s: Falling Down (★) / Break It Down Again – EVERYBODY LOVES A HAPPY ENDING: Secret World / Everybody Loves A Happy Ending / Closest Thing to Heaven (Billie Jean) (★) *Note: Songs marked with “★” were not included in the classic pro-shot recordings of ‘ROCK IN RIO 2017’ and ‘BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT’. …and so it goes. A spectacular greatest hits compilation featuring a lineup of everyone’s most famous songs. However, the beauty of this work lies in the fact that it doesn’t end there. It’s packed with repertoire not found in “ROCK IN RIO” or “BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT,” such as “Badman’s Song” and “Woman In Chains” from “THE SEEDS OF LOVE,” and “Falling Down” from the 90s. In particular, it shows a playful side by incorporating Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” into “Closest Thing to Heaven,” thoroughly exhilarating you with classic songs from the golden age, while adding unexpected spice at key points. This is the TEARS FOR FEARS edition of the Port Chester unearthed pro-shot series. It captures the unadorned atmosphere of a regular performance, different from the spectacle of a huge festival or the refined production of a BBC broadcast, in official-quality video and superb soundboard footage, totaling about 100 minutes. This is the TEARS FOR FEARS edition of the Port Chester newly unearthed pro-shot series. A newly discovered master of the “September 28, 2015 Port Chester concert” boasts official-quality picture and raw, unadulterated feel. Enjoy approximately 100 minutes of this solo performance, featuring classic tracks like “Badman’s Song,” “Woman In Chains,” and “Falling Down,” many of which weren’t included in the standard pro-shot releases “ROCK IN RIO 2017” or “BBC RADIO 2 IN CONCERT.” This is the first time this pro-shot footage has been released!
