Description
This marks his first solo tour of Japan! Four shows were held from April 14, 2026, in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. This release is the second item in the highly anticipated series of his Japan tour, featuring a complete recording of the opening night, the Nagoya show, in ultra-high fidelity! The live performance at the Nagoya Civic Center Forest Hall on April 14th, the first day of the tour, is fully recorded in ultra-high fidelity! The venue started with an atmosphere of anticipation and tension. He surprised the audience by starting with Pink Floyd’s Brain Damage. I was also surprised by his guitar skills; his expressive playing and powerful cutting were superb. During Long Way, he said, “I don’t have a band today, but this will play in my place,” and played an open reel tape, which was a surprise karaoke version. Nagoya was fired up with “Rockin’ in the Free World,” which included criticism of the Donald Trump administration. Looking back, there were many songs from Pearl Jam that day, and Man of the Hour was performed only on this night. Recorded live at Niterra Hall, Nagoya, Japan 14th April 2026 CD1 01. Intro 02.
