The Unity Band’s tour was a long one, starting in New York in February 2012 and continuing until December 2014. In 2014, the addition of multi-instrumentalist Giulio Carmassi added depth to their sound. This 3-disc live album allows you to fully experience that overwhelming and powerful sound. Chris Potter’s overwhelming saxophone, Ben Williams’ supple yet robust bass, and Antonio Sanchez’s sharp drumming—the tension and sustained groove that only these five can create is still very much alive here in St. Louis.
