This masterpiece was once known as “THEATRE OF ROSEMONT.” This release is an upgraded version that significantly elevates that already top-tier recording. Subsequently, the discovery of recordings from the “THEATRE OF PAIN Tour” progressed, and finally, a completely official-quality soundboard recording, “LONG BEACH 1985 SOUNDBOARD,” was released. Masterful recordings polished up with meticulous mastering. This is MOTLEY CRUE in 1985/1986. The Rosemont performance on this album is the 62nd show of the “North American” leg. This concert took place approximately four weeks (15 shows prior) to the simultaneous release of the new masterpiece album, “LONG BEACH 1985 SOUNDBOARD.” This recording, capturing that show, is a masterpiece unearthed from the collection of a master who produced numerous excellent recordings in the mid-80s. This person is said to have worked on a number of illustrious albums, including IRON MAIDEN’s “SLAVERY MASTER,” Ozzy Osbourne’s “ULTIMATE SIN IN CHICAGO,” and (although not confirmed) METALLICA’s superb masterpieces “THE ECSTASY OF ARAGON,” “CHICAGO 1986 FIRST LEG,” and “DEFINITIVE MASTER OF CHICAGO.” His Mötley Crüe compilation is, of course, superb. It was highly praised for its realistic and natural sense of presence, and its directness and compelling listening experience, almost like a line recording. This album is a completely re-examined and polished version of that legendary recording, representing a new and improved version.
