Here is the 13th installment of the ultimate compilation video, featuring 2 hours and 9 minutes of rare footage from the “LICK IT UP” release period between 1983 and 1984, all in the best master quality. This is the 13th installment of the rare “KISSTORY” series, in which an overseas KISS researcher has selected and compiled a vast amount of video material using the latest equipment. This time, it brings together various rare videos from the “LICK IT UP” era, when they finally revealed their faces, including TV appearances and live performances, in a nearly chronological order. It begins with the MTV special “MTV Kiss Unmasking” in September 1983, where KISS appeared in public for the first time without makeup. This is followed by a collection of footage documenting their album announcements, music videos, their first concert without makeup in Lisbon in October of the same year, their European tour and promotional activities, the music video and making-of for “All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose,” promotional videos from their US activities in 1984, a complete interview with Gene Simmons, and related TV footage. In total, this 4-hour and 7-minute full-volume compilation brings together the biggest turning point in the band’s history.
