Description
Following the success of his 2025 autumn Japan tour, Sting’s new project “Sounds Like Art” concert, held on January 19, 2026, at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is captured on professional video from the webcast on-air master. In addition to his activities with the trio project “STING 3.0,” he is also working on the musical project “THE LAST SHIP,” and “Sounds Like Art” is a slightly different concept. This concert, held in a non-traditional concert venue such as a museum, is an acoustic gig with just Sting and Dominic Miller, surrounded by paintings. This performance is also scheduled to be released as the official live album “THE NIGHT WATCH (LIVE AT THE RIJKSMUSEUM),” but it includes five songs not included in that release. Furthermore, the venue is special, and the video is a work that pursues video art on a different level from typical concert footage. As a bonus, professional video footage of his guest appearance at a New Year’s Eve event held in Poland on New Year’s Eve 2025 is also included. This 89-minute performance offers a rare sight: the artist performs five of their signature songs on a huge outdoor stage, without even picking up a bass guitar, relying solely on vocals. 1. Intro 2.
