From the 1987 UK tour, this release features a full 1 hour and 52 minute recording of the second night of their consecutive performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London on January 7th, captured from a recently unearthed high-quality audience master. The tour kicked off here in the UK, and while some of the band members from the previous year’s release, “August,” remained, the addition of Mark Knopfler as second guitarist generated considerable buzz. The setlist was also drastically different from the previous tour, starting with a powerful “Crossroads,” and incorporating four tracks from “August,” along with a wide range of other songs including solo and Cream numbers. The highlight was the encore performance of “Money For Nothing,” featuring Knopfler’s guitar – a unique highlight of this tour.
