This release features a full 1 hour and 22 minute recording of the first show of the second day of their 2026 Japan tour, which aimed to recreate the setlist from “ASIA IN ASIA,” recorded from a high-quality audience master released by the taper. The tour, which followed the previous year’s performance, consisted of 10 shows in total, with two shows per day for 5 days, and this recording captures the third of those shows in soundboard-level quality. Now, 43 years after their legendary first visit in 1983, this live performance follows the same flow and structure as back then. What was particularly praised this time was Harry Whitley’s vocals, whose voice, reminiscent of John Wetton, has evolved even further since the previous year.
