This release features a full 1 hour and 24 minute recording of the second show on February 4th in Osaka, the second day of their 2026 Japan tour, which aimed to recreate the setlist from the legendary “ASIA IN ASIA” album. The recording is sourced from a high-quality audience master released by the taper. Following their previous year’s tour, Asia performed two shows a day for five days, totaling 10 shows, and this is the fourth of those shows, captured in soundboard-level quality. Now, 43 years after their legendary first visit in 1983, they return to Japan with the same flow and structure as back then. Harry Whitley’s vocals were particularly praised this time, with his voice, reminiscent of John Wetton, showing even further evolution than the previous year. As this is a recreation of “ASIA IN ASIA,” they also performed “Eye To Eye” and “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes,” songs not performed the previous year, making this a must-have, Japan-exclusive memorial item for fans familiar with the original Asia.
