This popular album, which features a complete recording of their 1977 live performance from the time of their second album’s release, including the soundcheck, in superb stereo soundboard quality, has been upgraded with the latest transfer technology! : The same label previously released “MY OBSESSION -LOST PRE-REELS 1977-” which was a direct digital transfer from a pre-reel master recorded by FM station KSAN, capturing a live performance held on September 21, 1977, at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco, coinciding with the release of their second album “Plastic Letters,” in official-quality stereo soundboard recording. However, this new release features a newly digital transfer, correcting the pitch instability caused by tape placement that was not fully corrected in the previous release, and upgrading to a clearer sound quality, making it the definitive version! It includes a complete recording, including the sound check rehearsal before the show. The first set opens with “My Obsession,” a Rolling Stones number from the 60s that the Stones themselves never played live, and Iggy Pop’s “Funtime”! The last three songs of the second show are played in quick succession, starting with The Yardbirds’ “Heart Full Of Soul” and continuing with a medley of The Runaways’ “I Playing “Love Playing With Fire” and The Doors’ “Moonlight Drive”!
