This release captures the final day of Bryan Adams’ visit to Japan in three years, coinciding with the release of “ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES” in 2026. The live performance at Asue Arena Osaka on January 28th, the band’s last visit, is recorded over 2 hours and 33 minutes using in-ear monitor audio, including the sound check. This recording is from the original master of the IEM audio intercepted at the venue that day, and because it’s Bryan Adams’ own IEM source, the balance of each instrument is perfect, without the common mix balance issues. There are virtually no counts, clicks, or staff conversations, recreating the live performance in a perfect stereo soundboard directly connected to the mixing console. The setlist is the same as the second day at Budokan, and includes “Heat Of The Night,” which wasn’t performed on their previous visit, as well as four songs from “ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES” performed in Japan for the first time, clearly demonstrating their continued relevance. Furthermore, as a bonus, the sound check from before the show started is included after the main concert, and this is also a must-listen from beginning to end. You can hear “I’m Ready,” which wasn’t performed in the main concert, and Adams even does full covers of Deep Purple’s “Woman From Tokyo” and “Strange Kind Of Woman” on vocals. Incidentally, there is a record of “Woman From Tokyo” being performed only once at the Nippon Budokan in 2000, but “Strange Kind Of Woman” is an extremely rare number with no record of it ever being performed, and Brian’s choice of songs, being a big fan of Ritchie Blackmore, is quite endearing. In short, this is a limited-edition memorial item for their 2026 Japan tour, with the final night of their visit to Japan fully recorded, including the rehearsal, in official quality.
