This release captures the second night of their first visit to Japan in three years, coinciding with the release of “ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES” in 2026. The concert at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on January 27th was fully recorded over 2 hours and 8 minutes using a digital audience master that rivals a soundboard recording. The vocals and band sound are simply perfect, and the audience’s singalongs during the choruses are captured with remarkable balance, bringing the excitement of that day vividly back to life. The second night at the Budokan featured almost the same setlist as the previous night, but with the debut of the acoustic “House Arrest” as a nightly variation. They also performed “Heat Of The Night,” which wasn’t played on their previous visit, and four songs from “ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES” were performed in Japan for the first time, showcasing their continued relevance. As it was the second night, the band’s groove was even more pronounced, and the playing of their close friend Keith Scott is particularly noteworthy.
