Description
This full 2-hour, 12-minute recording captures the June 27th live radio performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, from the band’s 1989 reunion US tour, captured on stereo soundboard audio. This pre-master recording, rather than the original aircheck, offers a higher-quality upgrade than previously available airchecks. It also boasts a distinctly realistic, live feel, perfectly mixed for broadcast. Fans should definitely check out this release, as even though Pete was unable to play electric guitar due to hearing loss, John Entwistle is still in the room, and tracks from “Tommy” (later cut from the tour set that year) like “Eyesight to the Blind” and “Sensation” are included.
