Description
This 1 hour and 24 minute recording features a live performance from the Berlin, Germany, concert on October 29th, from the 1983 Euro Tour, one of Miles Davis’s best tours of the ’80s, recorded on a master-quality soundboard using broadcast-quality audio. While not a complete release due to its radio broadcast source, the recordings are of exceptional quality, and the latest equipment has been applied to correct pitch and reduce hiss, ensuring the best possible quality. The live performance, featuring the two legendary guitarists Mike Stern and John Scofield, is clearly in top form from the opening track, “Speak,” and continues to be highly active, hitting high and long notes and delivering powerful blows. In addition, the two guitarists who are the core of this tour, John Scotch and Mike Stern, are also in top form, and Stern’s creative phrases appear throughout the solos, which are reminiscent of the performance in Japan that took place five months earlier, making this a must-listen for fans who remember that time.
