Since the summer of 2022, Mike Stern has been performing with his wife and guitar partner, Leni Stern, in a twin-guitar quartet. This November 2, 2025, a concert at the Austrian jazz club Porgy & Bess, which has become a regular feature in recent years, features a 1 hour 43 minute recording, coupled with a soundboard recording from the webcast on-air master and pro-shot footage on Blu-ray. Taking advantage of its large capacity, the Blu-ray delivers HD quality pristine from the original material, and the audio is in perfect PCM stereo, making it worthy of official release status. While the couple’s twin guitars are the focus of the recording, Dennis Chambers, the legendary drummer who has toured with Stern’s band in recent years, also contributes, showcasing his powerful, funky groove and virtuosic technique throughout.
