This is a never-before-seen recording, and while some guitar and vocal tracks are slightly off due to the direct-to-recording mastering provided by a source at the time, it captures the atmosphere of the venue in exquisite detail. Rather than a rehearsal, it primarily serves as a warm-up jam session, featuring a variety of tracks, including “Jelly Roll,” The Firm’s “Closer,” and Rod Stewart’s “Hot Legs,” as well as instrumentals and jams. Sykes’s brief, passionate rendition of “Living On A Prayer” adds a particularly enjoyable touch to this rare collector’s edition.
