Description

This hour-long recording, taken from recently unearthed soundboard recordings, captures the band’s first overseas tour, the Euro Tour, held in Peldoorn, Netherlands, on May 19th, 1979, prior to the release of their debut album, “Demolition.” The recording originated at a time when the band had released the single “Take It All Away” at the end of the previous year, with the backing of Lemmy of Motörhead, and was hitting the UK club circuit. Incidentally, this recording was recorded directly from the master, a direct-from-the-board source previously released on vinyl bootlegs. This live performance, full of unreleased material, features only three tracks that would later appear on their debut album, “Demolition.” The rest are unreleased tracks and covers of AC/DC and the Stones, creating a raw, fresh sound that’s truly exceptional.
