Sting/Tokyo, Japan 09.15.2025 Complete S & V IEM Matrix Edition

This DVD edition features the full recording of the September 15th Tokyo concert at Ariake Arena, part of the six-date “STING 3.0 Tour” in 2025. It features a multi-stereo IEM matrix audio source, along with high-quality audience shots from the show. The stereo IEM sources Sting used onstage and the digital audience sources were expertly mixed to create a multi-IEM matrix, and the remastering process eliminated most click guides, resulting in a hybrid sound that fully captures the atmosphere of the venue, recreating the day’s action at soundboard level. Furthermore, the digital camera footage on the DVD was recorded from a 4K master, resulting in a stable, high-quality shot with virtually no obstructions. Furthermore, the audio is synchronized with the CD’s multi-IEM matrix source, making the audio and the quality of the footage second to anything you’d find on YouTube. The “3.0 TOUR,” which began touring around the world last year, finally arrived in Japan. While the official “3.0 LIVE” had already been released, the set was significantly altered. The Police numbers included “So Lonely,” “Walking On The Moon,” “King Of Pain,” and “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” as well as solo numbers like “Fragile,” “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You,” “Heavy Cloud No Rain,” “A Thousand Years,” “Desert Rose,” and “Mad About You,” among many other tracks not heard on the official releases. While the set was essentially fixed, the first day in Kobe featured “Heavy Cloud No Rain,” and the first day in Tokyo featured “Fortress Around Your Heart,” but this time featured “When We Dance,” with this part seemingly rotating throughout the set. This Japan-only memorial item perfectly recreates the final Tokyo performance at soundboard level.
