Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert, “BACK TO THE BEGINNING,” was held on July 5, 2025, in Birmingham, England, his hometown. The final four performances, featuring four of his most important bands, were released on DVD from the Best Master webcast. While the event featured 18 bands and was streamed for a limited time of 10 hours, despite the quality variations depending on the reception environment, the best available professional-shot footage has been used to recreate the four bands’ performances at an official level, spanning a total of 2 hours and 16 minutes. The first half of disc 1 features Guns N’ Roses, performing as a five-piece band for the first time in 35 years since 1990, without support members. The set was also special, featuring four Sabbath covers, including rare tracks from albums like “TECHNICAL ECSTASY” and “NEVER SAY DIE.” The second half of the album features two Metallica covers, “Hole in the Sky” and “Johnny Blade,” with fantastic arrangements. Disc two finally sees Ozzy Osbourne’s arrival, and the first half features his first solo performance in six and a half years, primarily featuring numbers from his first solo album, his charisma still palpable even while seated. Finally, the final performance is the original Sabbath’s final live performance in 20 years, and it’s truly moving to see the four original members perform together.
