The LA Forum performance on October 7th from the North American tour after the release of his first solo album “OUTSIDER” in 1988 was recorded in full for 2 hours and 5 minutes from the original audience master of MARCO MOIR, a taper that has been released for the first time in recent years and has been a hot topic. This is a recording from the master of the legendary taper who left high-quality recording tapes at concert venues all over the United States at almost the same time as Mike Millard, and the quality is almost the same as the Millard tape. Incidentally, Mike Millard also left a recording tape of this performance on the same day, and while the Millard recording was made mono due to equipment problems and released, this is a clear stereo recording. And the live performance itself was surprising because Page was playing so much, and his playing was reminiscent of Zep’s heyday, especially the transition from “The Chase” to “Dazed And Confused” halfway through, which reminded me of Zep circa 1973.
