There are several titles of Rory Gallagher’s live broadcast on TV, including the famous Rock Palast, but this is a high-quality recording of the Madrid performance that most fans have probably never seen. The live performance, recorded in black and white, was unbelievably high-tension, and the setlist, which was compactly compiled for broadcast, was performed entirely by a four-piece band without acoustics, playing traditional blues-style songs with tremendous grooves.
