Description
Two existing audience recordings from the 1976 European tour, including the Zurich, Switzerland performance on June 15th, have been made into discs in their best condition. Although the sound source is of high quality, the shortcomings of each sound source that were found here and there have been carefully corrected, and both have been finished in the best version. First, discs 1 & 2 include the 2-disc analog LP “Get Off Of My Stone” from the original. “Pirated Disc Dictionary” (Art Days) says, “Since the sound was recorded from a distance, the sound separation is not good, but the sound quality itself is clear, so it is not difficult to listen.” As written, the original bulky sound image is transformed into a three-dimensional sound with appropriate equalization, achieving a clear sound that is hard to recognize. The sections on each side of the disc are naturally connected, and some of the missing inter-song cheers, You Can’t Always Get What You Want (4:39 – 6:07), Midnight Rambler (1:57), Each part has been accurately corrected and corrected by using the downloaded sound source of Discs 3 & 4, which will be explained in the second half. By the way, at the opening of this disc 1, we deliberately do not supplement with downloaded sound sources that are noisy with cheers, and start from the Honky Tonk Women intro as in analog. (I think you can enjoy it more stress-free that way.) Jumping Jack Flash and Street Fighting Man from this source have been released on CD by other labels as bonus tracks or supplementary sound sources, but this LP sound source has not been released as a complete CD. It’s the first time we’ve released it, so I think it’s a great project for fans who haven’t heard it yet (although it’s limited to enthusiasts). Although the sound is not as bright and direct as the downloaded sound source mentioned below, it is a fairly thick and bright sound that is very satisfying to listen to, and the freshness of the sound is perfect, so if you like vintage sounds, It can be said to be a great recording and sound source that you will enjoy comfortably over and over again. This is definitely a piece that will make you feel satisfied and fulfilled, thinking, “I’m listening to something good.” In the second half, Discs 3 & 4 contain good audience recording sound sources that appeared on the internet last year. This is a different master from the LP, and there are some parts where the audience’s voices are noisy, but the sound is close to the stage and the sound quality is quite good for a first appearance. The biggest drawback of this sound source, the extreme sound drop in the left channel at the beginning of If You Can’t Rock Me, has been treated with pseudo-stereo+α, which does not impair the balance/separation of sounds at all. Unless you know the sound source, you won’t notice this flaw. Then, by comparing it with the LP sound source, we compensated for the small gap between songs after the end of Star Star and Midnight Rambler (where Mick’s voice can be heard in both songs), and also replaced the large gap after Jumping Jack Flash 0:17 with the LP sound source. This performance has been completely recorded by bringing the tone of the sound source closer and supplementing it so that it does not feel strange. Furthermore, the problem of the pitch changing randomly between parts, which is common to both sound sources, is corrected as accurately and carefully as possible. The best version of valuable LP sound sources and popular new online sound sources.
