Rolling Stones/Steel Wheels Japan Tour Japanese Promo Only

The “phantom” Japanese 2-CD set “STEEL WHEELS JAPAN TOUR”, which was released by the record company as a promotion only before the band’s first performance in Japan in February 1990, has been reprinted from the original. It is assumed that it was manufactured in. “THE PLEASURE OF PAIN” is also rare, but this “STEEL WHEELS JAPAN TOUR” is even rarer. Due to limited distribution, it was not commonly available (according to enthusiasts), and now it has become a coveted item for collectors, making it difficult to even see it in person. The content is a reproduction of the initial set of the 1989 “STEEL WHEEL North American Tour” with tracks from the studio version and two live albums, “STILL LIFE” and “LOVE YOU LIVE.” Since the original was official, the songs are a selection list. If you look at it, you can easily imagine, but there are probably very few fans who actually played and enjoyed this CD, so I wonder what this CD is and what the intention was when it was made. Because the set was made to imitate the early set of the North American tour, it was not popular in Japan. One of the points is that Shattered, One Hit, Undercover of the Night, which was not played, is included. Also, at the time this CD was released, the additional performance on February 19th was not listed as a date for the Japan tour, which is a nice touch as it conveys the nostalgic atmosphere of those days. While listening to this work, it is fun to recall the real memories of that time 24 years and half a year ago, when Stones fans were the most passionate.
