Description
This is the best version of the take of the classic live recording of the early Stones, recorded on April 18th, the last day of the three-day performance at Olympia in Paris in 1965, by the French FM station “Europe 1” and broadcast on the program “Musicorama”. It was uploaded to the Internet by the reliable KRW_co Collection, and is based on the version copied to DAT from the radio broadcast version. Of course, it is not a record drop. When you listen to it, it boasts the best freshness and content ever, but the original sound source had several large sound cuts in the left channel, mainly in the second song, and there was a phase shift between the left and right channels, so I dared to create my own mono mix. Since it was originally a mono sound board, the sound cuts were eliminated and the sound was firmly positioned in the center, so you can listen to it stress-free even with headphones. In addition, the pitch, which was randomly out of sync by more than a semitone, was corrected. This is probably the first time in history that the pitch of this sound source has been corrected so accurately. Not only is it a valuable recording of all the songs from the early Stones concerts, but the sound quality is also very good, and it also includes the unreleased song “Craw-Dad” played as an encore, so this is a great release of the best of the historical recordings that have been released so far. This is a must-listen and must-have. Fans of all levels will surely enjoy it! Live at L’Olympia Theatre, Paris, France 18th April 1965 SBD (36:09) 1. Everybody Needs Somebody to Love 2.
