Description
Two soundboard live performances from Return to Forever’s “Hymn to the Seventh Galaxy” period are recorded in high quality sound with the latest remastering. Disc 1 is the Syracuse performance on October 1, 1973, and Disc 2 is the Rockville performance in February 1974. Both are recordings from the time of Bill Connors, who can be said to be the driving force behind “Hymn to the Seventh Galaxy”. These are valuable live performances from the Connors period, which marked the shift in Return to Forever’s sound towards rock. Both performances have been remastered in 2020, and the definitive sound quality surpasses that of previous titles, so we hope you will pick them up.
